AXEKELP

AXEKELP is a natural biostimulant made up of Ascophyllum nodosum seaweed extract. Its natural composition includes natural phytoregulator precursors (cytokinins, auxins and gibberellins), amino acids, carbohydrates and a large number of nutritive elements (N, P, K, Ca, Fe, Mn, Zn, S, B, Mo and Cu).

All of the macro-elements (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) included in AXEKELP formulation are 100% assimilated by the plant. Moreover, AXEKELP provides micro-nutrients such as boron, copper, iron, iodine, magnesium, manganese, molybdenum, sulphur, zinc, sodium, silicon (silicic acid) etc. and carbohydrates like mannitol, laminarin or methylpentose, among other sugars.

AXEKELP includes an important contribution of amino acids (aminogram with 18 different amino acids), among which are the following: threonine, valine, methionine, isoleucine, tryptophan, leucine, phenylalanine, lysine and histidine.

AXEKELP also provides hormonally active substances such as auxins (to foster vegetative growth, cell division and nutrient transport), gibberellins (to stimulate vegetative growth and flowering) and cytokinins (to regulate, along with auxins and gibberellins, all the metabolic processes), which are major elements for the protein formation.

AXEKELP provides provitaminA, vitamins B1, B2, B12, C, D, E, pantothenic acid, niacin, folic acid and folinic acid. All these compounds are easily absorbed by plants and rapidly incorporated into their physiological processes.

AXEKELP is a biostimulant that contributes to nutrient uptake, vegetative growth, flowering earliness, flower and fruit setting and fruit quality regarding the size, hardness, taste, weight, color and shelf live. By increasing metabolic activity, AXEKELP induces the formation of an extensive and more effective root system that improves the absorption and transformation of nutrients, resulting in a better use of soil nutrients. This allows the achievement of the same crop yield applying a minor amount of fertilizer.

The effect of the herbicide treatments can be increased by using AXEKELP.
